A select few individuals in the print and electronic media, some of them well known cynics, were the maiden lot privileged to live the Coke side of life.
By the end of the fun-filled five-hour retreat at Imperial Resort Hotel Entebbe, some of them left with positive thoughts, which is in line with Coca Cola’s latest global market campaign; Coke side of life, which promotes positive living. They shared moments of joy, happiness and evinced satisfaction at the end of it all.
Friday evening was time to catch the happiness flight to the Coca Cola country, with flight captains, Mr. President, Fat Boy and Melanie of Sanyu Fm ready to fly from Serena Hotel poolside. Theirs was the toughest job. At the entrance, passengers were handed pineapple shaped ‘grenades’. Thank God none detonated. Passengers used the ‘grenades’ to sip a rare cocktail.
Once alight, guests received first class treatment, with air hostesses (waitresses) answering our every whim. BLU*3, Rachael Kiwanuka, Lyrical G, Maisha Dancers and a set of acrobats were the few who have ever held a performance on a ‘plane’.
The Coke side of life must have something about giving. Everyone aboard won prizes.
