Blu*3 Burn up London with new Vibes

LOCAL girl pop trio, the Blu*3, recently dazzled crowds at London’s Club East 17, at the launch of their latest album <i>‘Burrn’.</i>

LOCAL girl pop trio, the Blu*3, recently dazzled crowds at London’s Club East 17, at the launch of their latest album ‘Burrn’.

The trio also sold thousands of records and gained a loyal fan base during their tour. ‘Burrn’ was recorded in London and it appears BLU*3 are set to keep making waves there for several months.

Burrn is done to an exciting mix of R&B melodies. Sources say the trio received heartfelt standing ovations from the crowd at East 17 as they performed.

Had it not been for the fact that the venue was packed to capacity, many revellers would definitely have gone about grooving, grinding and sweating it out on the crowded floor.

However, they all just had to be content with watching the girls do their thing.

The tour also portrayed a more sensitive side of the BLU*3’s music repertoire when they sang a couple of romantic ballads like Nsanyuka Naawe and Ndibbera Naawe. In these songs, the girls display wonderful vocal harmony.

Katika was another showstopper of the five-night musical tour. The song has made it to the radio playlists on East Africa FM.

The rock ‘n’ roll Strong Woman sounds exotic at home and has an addictive beat and cheerful lyrics.
