PART of Jinja Road, between Kireka and Nambole Stadium, will be closed for two days during the Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade. The event to be hosted by the United States-based preacher, Benny Hinn, will take place at Nambole on Friday and Saturday.

The acting commissioner for traffic and road safety, Steven Kasima, explained that only vehicles with VIP stickers would have access to the road.

“All vehicles heading to Jinja from Kampala will turn off from Shell Kireka towards Namugongo-Kiira-Seeta and Namanve, while those heading to Kampala will be diverted from Jokas Hotel in Bweyogerere to Kinawataka through Bugolobi,” Kasima told journalists at the Central Police Station yesterday.

President Museveni and his wife, Janet, are expected to attend the event, according to sources.
