Muliika warns
KAMPALA — The Katikkiro, Dan Muliika, has urged political aspirants from Buganda to remember their roots. He was receiving sh700,000 for a kingdom certificate from city mayoral candidate Nasser Sebaggala on Friday.

Case lost
KAMPALA — The Supreme Court has dismissed a criminal appeal and upheld a conviction of Francis Muwanga, who was found guilty of murdering a five-year-old child after kidnapping it from its home. He committed the offence on April 4, 1999.

NGOs urged
RAKAI — An official of the district local government development programme (LGDP), Ruth Kanyaluzhu, has appealed to NGOs to help local governments fund their accounts so that they can receive LGDP funding from the Govern-ment. She was addressing district officials and stakeholders on Monday.
