FUFA picks Kalyango for CAF duty

REFEREE Ali Kalyango will officiate the MTN CAF Champions League match between Congo’s Motema Pembe and Central Africa’s Club Africaine March 3-5.

REFEREE Ali Kalyango will officiate the MTN CAF Champions League match between Congo’s Motema Pembe and Central Africa’s Club Africaine March 3-5, reports Norman Katende.

Kalyango, who will travel to Congo with assistants Nelson Mubanda and Hussein Bugembe, was appointed by the FUFA referees’ committee on request of the African football body- CAF.

“The selection according to their past performances and the recent cooper test,” said FUFA publicist Aldrine Nsubuga (above) in a release on Wednesday.

A group led by Fred Mufta will travel to Zanzibar (Feb 17-19) and one led by Arthur Bukenya to Ethiopia (Mar 3-5) for cup encounters.
