<b>Police hunt</b><br>JINJA — The Police are hunting for unidentified assailants who attacked a shopkeeper at his home and killed him. The attackers are said to have forcefully gained entrance through the backyard apartment of the shop, where the victim’s live.

JINJA — The Police are hunting for unidentified assailants who attacked a shopkeeper at his home and killed him. The attackers are said to have forcefully gained entrance through the backyard apartment of the shop, where the victim’s live. The incident occurred at Bwangu village, Busedde sub-county on Sunday. The district Police commander, Wilson Kwanya, identified the deceased as Emmanuel Wandera.

LC5 advises

MBALE — Sub-county councils should facilitate the establishment of village banks, the LC5 chairman has said. Bernard Mujasi said the Government plans to channel financial assistance to peasant farmers through the banks. He said every resident was expected to open a savings account to be eligible for funding.
