Rugby coach here next week

There always comes a time in sports when you have done the best you can, ran as fast you can, jumped as far as you could, and reached as far as you can get. To move on from there, to go even further needs some giant shoulders to stand on.

There always comes a time in sports when you have done the best you can, ran as fast you can, jumped as far as you could, and reached as far as you can get. To move on from there, to go even further needs some giant shoulders to stand on.
Ugandan rugby has just secured the services of some of the largest rugby shoulders on the continent in the form of ex-Springboks winger Chester Williams (left), who arrives in the country this week to take on coaching both the national 15s and sevens teams.
“We’ve always talked about going to the next level, playing right there with the big ones in the world of rugby. Well, this is our chance, the next level starts right here,” a rugby official said.
Uganda came back from playing African champions Morocco last week in a second round 2007 Rugby World Cup qualifier, losing 3-36. The consensus was that the technical play let the team down.
Williams was with the team in Casablanca, and often handed some advice. Before the home game against Morocco in Kampala in September, Uganda will play Cote d’Ivoire home and away. The winner will take on of Group A winner (Namibia, Tunisia and Kenya) for a World Cup spot.
