STANBIC Bank whipped Nkumba University 4-1 in the National Chess League at Lugogo on Sunday to consolidate its position at the top of the table.

STANBIC Bank whipped Nkumba University 4-1 in the National Chess League at Lugogo on Sunday to consolidate its position at the top of the table.
Stanbic which leads the 10-team division two league with 23 points, is 5.5 points clear of second-placed Lugogo.
In the other weekend games played at various places, Lugogo, Jinja, and Mulago Bishops triumphed over Kireka B, Kawanda and Bombo respectively.
