KKL move on in Tivoli Cup
Kampala Kids League (KKL) romped to the knockout stages of the Tivoli Cup here on Thursday, after routing Sweden’s Snotorp 5-0.

Kampala Kids League (KKL) romped to the knockout stages of the Tivoli Cup here on Thursday, after routing Sweden’s Snotorp 5-0.
The boys, sponsored by Stanbic Bank and SN Brussels, saw Ronnie Ssettuba, Moses Oyema, Stefan Andersen, Mark Jeero and Emma Magembe get onto the score sheet.
The same day, the Ugandans met their perennial rivals Hillerod 1, who had also won all their games, in a crunch match to decide who finished top of the group. The game ended 0-0 and Hillerod will meet USA champions, Dallas Texans in the semi final.
KKL have an easier route with a quarter final game against Taby of Sweden and if they win, they face Hillerod 2.
If they reach the final they are likely to play either Hillerod 1 or Dallas Texans.
KKL have once again become the team to watch and have attracted a fanatical following who enjoy their entertaining football.
Coach Eddie Butindo was pleased with the progress.
The boys met former international FIFA referee Kim Milton Nielsen who watched the games on Thursday.
