The Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi will today hold its 11th graduation ceremony. In a statement yesterday, the public relations officer, Joseph Sengooba, said 351 students would be awarded degrees, diplomas and certificates in various disciplines.

KAMPALA: Nadduli case
The High Court will today deliver its judgment in an election petition filed by former Luweero LC5 chairman Abdul Nadduli. Justice Arach Amoko will deliver the judgement in which Nadduli sued Ronald Ndaula, the electoral Commission and the National Council for Higher education for unlawfully declaring Ndaula as the chairman.

MUBENDE: Rain hits
At least 10 houses in Nsozinga and Kyamwelo villages in Kiganda sub-county were destroyed by heavy rain on Tuesday evening. LC3 chairman Richard Ssemiyingo said property worth millions of shillings were also destroyed during the rainfall that was characterised by strong winds.

MASAKA: RDC vows
The RDC’s office has resolved to evict over 50 families occupying the regional referral hospital land. Deputy RDC Teopista Ssenkungo said they had an alternative plan for the affected.
