THE Senator Cultural Extravaganza now at the district level after traversing 80 counties across the country recently revived cultural dance and folk songs in Tororo, Busia, Kihihi and Ibanda.

THE Senator Cultural Extravaganza now at the district level after traversing 80 counties across the country recently revived cultural dance and folk songs in Tororo, Busia, Kihihi and Ibanda.

In Tororo, the event took place at Tororo Lions Children’s Park with five groups showcasing their cultural dancing antics.
Tororo Special Actors won a sh150,000 cash prize.

The prize was presented by the UBL area manager, Adhola.
United Pergents and Osukuru Post-Test Club took the second and third positions respectively.

In Busia, Munomukabi Cultural Group took the top prize after beating five participants.

They were followed by Lumino Drama Group and Buhehe United Group who also received cash prizes and certificates of recognition from the Nile Beat director, Haruna Walusimbi.
Nile Beat Artists are the organisers of the extravaganza sponsored by Senator Extra Lager.

Meanwhile, in the remote district of Kihihi, energetic Kinyankole dances were displayed.
