THE Africa 10000m gold medallist Moses Kipsiro kick started his cross country season in style by winning a race in France.
The Pace Sports Management athlete beat a field of Kenyan and Europeans to cruise home to victory in the 10km road race.
Kipsiro was competing in the Cross de RATP permit meet on Sunday — one of the cross country series in Europe.
The Puma sponsored athlete is expected to take part in a number of other international meets as he prepares for the World Cross Country Championship due in Mombasa, Kenya, in March 2007.
Kipsiro, who had been preparing for last Sunday’s MTN Kampala Marathon 10km road race, was called at short notice to take part in races in Europe.
