The Prime Minister’s Office has donated 100 bags of maize flour and 809 bags of beans to victims of a landslide that hit three sub-counties in Manafwa in August.
District chief Charles Walimbwa on Tuesday  said 60 bags of flour and 30 of beans had been allocated to the beneficiaries in Bumbo sub-county, while 40 bags of flour and 20 of beans were given to Bupoto.
Buwabwala sub-county received 50 bags of flour and 25 bags of beans.
The slides killed a woman and her two daughters in Bumbo.
