MULTIPARTYISTS are poisonous snakes that should not be given any chance to govern again, the Kayunga Woman MP has said.
“We should resist them because they have bitten many innocent Ugandans, including the late Ssekabaka Edward Mutesa II, father to King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi,†Victoria Ssebagereka (right) said.
Speaking to supporters at the youth centre in Kayunga town council on Wednesday, Ssebagereka said multipartyists were responsible for the killing of many Ugandans in Luweero triangle and those who were killed before the bush war, which brought President Yoweri Museveni to power.
Ssebagereka urged her supporters to support Museveni and the Movement government.
“The Movement saved you from political anarchy and you should support it,’’ Ssebagereka said.
She said the Movement government does not isolate anybody and urged multipartysts to join it to develop the country.
Kayunga RDC Margaret Balyehuki advised supporters to make the National Resistance Movement Organisation admirable.
Balyehuki said she would convince Museveni to launch a magazine chronicling what the Movement has achieved during the 18 years in power so that they do not find difficulties when looking for votes during the 2006 elections.
“People would be given a copy to decide for themselves which governing policy is better†she said.
