FORMER Property Masters manager Patrick Kasulu on Monday provoked a prolonged argument in court while trying to plead for a halt of the ongoing hearing of some cases against him.

He said he was trying to sort out his problems with the complainants to pave way for his release from Luzira upper Remand prison.

Kasulu requested court to support his bid to settle some of the complaints. “I want to end the suffering that I am undergoing. please your worship, I have compensated or settled some of the problems of my complainants and I am willing to settle the rest as well,” Kasulu told Chief Magistrate Margaret Tibulya at Buganda Road Court.

He was in court for the hearing of a sh40m case, where he is charged with obtaining money by false pretence.
Tibulya rejected Kasulu’s request saying the complainant had not yet been compensated and prosecution had two witnesses who would testify on the matter.
