AS the two local leading sides MTN Heathens and LG Rhinos lock horns in the Bell Lager league final, Uganda Rugby Football Union (URFU) will be taking gate collections to boost the national team preparations for the World Cup qualifiers that start in June.

URFU country manager Herbert Wafula revealed that every fan entering in Kyadondo premises will have to pay sh3000 while students will pay sh1000.

“We need this money to have better preparations for the national team ahead of a very tough international season,” Wafula said.

Uganda will host Kenya June 25 in the first game before taking on Madagascar July 11.

LG Rhinos have never reached this stage before while rivals MTN Heathens are the reigning champions and two time winners.
