A 30-year-old soldier’s wife is seeking president Yoweri Museveni’s attention to access her late husband’s salary and pension to enable her look after her family.
Sarah Byeyendeza on Friday said Pte. Frank Byeyendeza, who was attached to Bombo army barracks, ran mad in 1998 and died last year, leaving her with five children.

Diocese gets

NORTH Kigezi Diocese, Kinyasaano, has received 100 computers worth sh300m from the Diocese of Canterbury in Britain, to boost education in church-founded schools.
A Canterbury official, Kenneth Berkin, handed over the computers to Bishop Edward Muhima on Saturday.

THE Police in Bushenyi on Friday recovered the body of Edison Nampa of Ruhabo, Ihunga sub-county in Ntungamo district, who is believed to have been murdered four days earlier.
