MBARARA — Resident district commissioner Clement Kandole has expressed fears of a drought following the cutting of trees on the hills in Kabuyanda sub-county. Kandole urged leaders to sensitise farmers cultivating on the hills to plant trees before the situation gets out of control.

Kisoro — LC5 chairman Dr. Philemon Mateke has said the technocrats always fail politicians in their efforts to fight corruption. Mateke was closing a training workshop for councillors and heads of departments aimed at enhancing effectiveness of local governments on Wednesday.
