THE chairman Private Schools Association, John Bosco Mujjumba has appealed to the Government to assist private schools acquire laboratory equipment at subsidised prices.

“As we go scientific our private schools are facing the big task of acquiring laboratory equipment. On the open market it is very expensive,” he said.

Mujjumba was addressing students and parents of Nakasero School on Rubaga Road during the Careers’ Day recently. Student’s exhibited various traditional dances from east and central region.

He called on the Government to scrap taxes on private schools because they offer many services to the country. “Parents should play a great role in career guidance.

“It is not only the teachers, who should be responsible for the child education,” he said.
