THE third edition of the Cola-Cola/Sheraton Corporate Squash tournament that gets underway today at Sheraton Kampala Hotel has received sh6m from participating corporations
THE third edition of the Cola-Cola/Sheraton Corporate Squash tournament that gets underway today at Sheraton Kampala Hotel has received sh6m from participating corporations, reports Douglas Mazune.
Sheraton, Century Bottling Company, Cairo International Bank, Bank of Uganda, uganda telecom and EAGEN Insurance that contributed sh1m each, launched the week-long tournament at Sheraton Hotel yesterday.
Each of the six corporations will field a team of players in the event organised by Uganda Squash Rackets Association (USRA).
Century Bottling Company public relations officer Maureen Kyomuhendo pledged the company’s support for squash in future.
EAGEN, Sheraton, Cairo Bank and uganda telecom also promised to support the sport.
The event will be played in the evenings to fit in the participants’ work schedule.
