The headmistress, beatrice Turyasingura, said the school will today hold a fundraising music gala in the school main hall at 2:00pm.

KIBOGA — The resident district commissioner, Margaret Kasaija, has ordered the Police to investigate the district’s works department over the disappearance of road maintenance equipment. Kasaija (below) issued the order during a council meeting on Thursday after a committee report presented by the chairman Sula Ssekiwunga, indicated that the equipment was missing.

KAMPALA — The new Generation of Free Ugandans (NGOFU), a new political party, has asked the Government to release all political prisoners if the country is to go through a peaceful political transition. NGOFU president Barigye Kugonza on Thursday said many politicians were detained for being government opponents, adding that this might ruin the country into civil war. He said this at St. Matia Mulumba conference hall in Old Kampala.
