SIR — I was not surprised to read in the press that Kaliro district was in a crisis. Even less surprising was the reaction of the writer who blamed the two councillors, Patrick Pande and Sam Bubuli Mutono for causing the crisis that has failed the new district.

Those opposed to us should know that the new district of Kaliro will progress without the help of our mother distirct’s intervention. So they should leave us to develop our distirct instead of fabricating lies and misinforming the public about our councillors and our newly created distirct. We are focused people.
