PILAWO maestro Salim Saad Uhuru is being held at the Central Police Station (CPS), Kampala, in connection with the attempted murder of his brother, Ahmed Saad at the weekend.
City deputy police chief Gabriel Tibayungwa yesterday told the press at CPS, “They had a domestic brawl at their restaurant on Kafumbe Mukasa Road.
According to reports, Uhuru fired two shots injuring his brother in the leg. We are still investigating but we have him with us.â€
He said Saad was admitted to Bai International Hospital in Old Kampala.
“Since he misused his firearm, we shall also withdraw the licence,†he said.
Meanwhile, the hunt is still on for, Lt. William Scot Nkorenta, the UPDF officer who allegedly shot a senior police officer, James Habukiriro and a woman at a bar in Ntinda.
