THE health ministry has donated a modern freezer and an X-ray machine to Kawolo hospital.

Joel Ogwang reports that the medical superintendent, Joachim Zziwa, said this would enable good storage of bodies in the mortuary recently built by the ministry.

Commissioning the items at the hospital in Lugazi on Tuesday, Zziwa said the freezer could store three bodies of adults and 10 of children at ago.

He said being a referral, Kawolo received many accident victims that treating and storing bodies had become a menace because of the limited facilities.
