Police in Kayunga have arrested a traditional healer for allegedly murdering a resident.
Robert Sseguya, 36, a resident of Satagi in Kitimbwa sub-county, allegedly killed an unidentified person and kept the skeleton in his shrine.
District CID chief Aggrey Mugoya said the arrest followed a tip off from a patient who had gone to Sseguya for treatment.
Mugoya said Sseguya had told the patient to get a human skull as one of the required items for the cure. When the patient failed to get the skull, Sseguya promised to get it on condition that the patient paid sh3m.
District Police commander Peter Omalinga said Sseguya would be prosecuted in the courts of law.
He hailed residents for working together with the Police.
