THE new Kabarole resident district commissioner, Charles Ndiwa Chemasuet, has said after the defeat of the Allied Democratic Forces, there is no reason why the district cannot develop.

THE new Kabarole resident district commissioner, Charles Ndiwa Chemasuet, has said after the defeat of the Allied Democratic Forces, there is no reason why the district cannot develop.
He said Kabarole was peaceful and called upon residents to use their energy to work hard and restore peace in the district.
Chemasuet made the remarks while taking over office on Monday from Canon Ben Rullanga, who was posted to Kanungu district.
Pledging to serve residents through consultation and collaboration, he urged the district council to maintain good leadership qualities.
Chemasuet said peacemakers should be put on board and wrong characters isolated.
The out-going RDC paid tribute to the district leaders, the security organs and those who joined the crusade for a better security situation in the district.
“This has improved the district economically,†Rullanga said.
The district council organised a joint farewell and welcome party for the two officials at Tooro Club in Fort Portal municipality recently.
The new deputy RDC, Deborah Mbabazi, was among those who attended the function.
