THE state minister for northern Uganda has urged the people of Lira to help security personnel.

Grace Akello was recently visiting the 50 victims of the LRA attacks on Abia IDPs camp who were admitted to Lira referral hospital.

She could not hold back tears when she saw a four-year-old survivor crying in pain as burns on his legs were dressed.

Akello appealed to residents to provide the army with the necesary information that would help in the capture of the rebels.

she was accompanied by Cecilia Ogwal, Lira MP and Margret Ateng,, Lira woman MP.
Akello pledged to have more UPDF soldiers deployed at the camp.
She also commeded the Amuka militia group.
