IGANGA - A traffic officer, Andrew Ejoyat, has said no accident has occurred on the once dangerous Tirinyi road, in the last three months. Ejoyat told The New Vision recently, that increased driver sensitisation and police vigilance had instilled discipline in reckless drivers using the route connecting Iganga town to Mbale district.

Orphans get
MBALE - The Uganda HIV/AIDS Control Project has given Mbale district sh44m for the community-based HIV/AIDS programmes. The chief administrative officer, Kenneth Wanaiaye said the funds would be used to care for HIV/AIDS orphans.

'Back term'
KUMI - The Movement chairperson in the district, Umar Okodel has urged Ugandans to support the third term for the benefit of future leaders.
Okodel told The New Vision recently that Museveni should be retained for being a visionary leader who changed Uganda's image.
