Former Democratic Party (DP) secretary general Robert Kitariko has urged the party to get organised if it hopes to unseat President Yoweri Museveni.

Former Democratic Party (DP) secretary general Robert Kitariko has urged the party to get organised if it hopes to unseat President Yoweri Museveni.
Kitariko said DP should think of forming a coalition with other ‘principled political parties.’
Kitariko on Tuesday said the forthcoming DP National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, to elect a party president to replace Dr. Paul Ssemogerere, should unite the party for a common cause.
“We cannot defeat Museveni unless we are united. DP cannot talk of a coalition when it is still regarded as an unprincipled party because of it’s internal division,†he said
