THE celebration to commemorate this year’s UN World Environment day is to take place in Kampala district, according officials of the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
The day’s theme is: “Proper waste management, our health, our wealth,’’ according to the public relations officer, Wilfred Banabakintu.
The world environment day is celebrated globally on June 5.
NEMA has organised a public debate during which Ken Lukyamuzi , MP for Lubaga South and prof. Eric Edroma, a lecturer at Nkumba University, will present papers at the National Theatre.
