UGANDA’s poor economy and the education system have intensified the unemployment problem, the state minister for information, James Nsaba Buturo, has said.
“Lack of jobs is due to the poor economy and the education system, which is producing job seekers and not job creators,” Buturo said.
While officiating at the inauguration of the new board of Makerere University Kisoro Students Association (MUKSA) at Steak Out, Lumumba Avenue Nakasero recently, Buturo advised the students to always be disciplined while seeking employment.
“Whenever you are asking for a job, be polite, disciplined and broad-minded. Your expressions should always be in position to convince the employer,” he said.
He urged them to support the movement but not to be violent towards other political parties.
“We should give audience to all parties as they express their views,” Buturo said.
