WBS TV Showtime presenter, Doreen Kayongo with lens man, Paul Shamba in tow, was bounced! Kenyan Event managers Show Company, (show Co) boldly put it to the show time crew that they couldn't film the concert, as 13 giant cameras and screens were already back stage recording the event. Frantic attempts to get clearance were to no avail. On the brink of tears, Doreen was left with only one option - to interview guests as they entered the auditorium. “That girl really loves her job," patrons commented, as they pleaded albeit in vain, on her behalf. Well, guess we won’t be seeing the Senegalese star’s concert ShowTime Magazine won’t be featuring.

Forget sleazy media stories of the maverick MP being smoked out late at night lecturing a nubile female constituent, in Rubaga on ‘Federo.’ Ken Lukyamuzi, who made an appearance with wife Mary, behaved like a love struck teenager on a first date. Oblivious of the crowds behind him, Ken, holding his wife by the waistline, kept on whispering in her ear (was he actually nibbling at it), drawing giggles of excitement from her.
Earlier on, on presentation of their entry ticket, the couple was handed an arm tag each. Unlike others who had their tags placed by ushers, Lukyamuzi placed the tag on the wife’s left arm himself, which he later kissed lightly. The two walked into Didi's world auditorium in high spirits.
