House of Dawda has invested $30m in the last 14 years, the company’s chairman, Hasmukh Dawda has said, reports David Muwanga. “We are still expanding since Uganda has got the best investment environment, while bureaucracy is no longer a problem,†he said while opening Charms Uganda Limited, a cosmetics shop on Kampala Road recently. Dawda asked more businessmen to inject their money in Uganda. “Though we have operated in Kenya, Uganda excels in policies and the climate. More investors should come in to target the Great Lakes region,†he said. Ends
