IGG Official Testifies Today

THE Director of Operations in the Inspector General of Government’s office (IGG) who shot himself recently will today (Tuesday) testify in a corruption case against Buganda Road Court Magistrate Charles Kisakye.

THE Director of Operations in the Inspector General of Government’s office (IGG) who shot himself recently will today (Tuesday) testify in a corruption case against Buganda Road Court Magistrate Charles Kisakye.Catherine Ntabadde writes that J B Kasirye is the last witness in the case where Kisakye and a State Attorney Scola Nafuna are accused of soliciting for a sh1m bribe from a former Police officer.The case which had come up for hearing yesterday before Mengo Court Chief Magistrate Godfrey Opifeni, was adjourned because Nafuna was reportedly sick.Kisakye is represented by Macdusman Kabega, David Matovu and Wycliff Birungi while Nafuna is represented by Nelson Nerima.Ends
