Mao and Okumu are opportunists!

SIR— For long I had reserved respect for Mr Norbert Mao the MP for Gulu Municipality and Mr Reagan Okumu the MP for Aswa, until recently when I realised that these two are opportunists who don’t want the war in Acholiland to end.It is really frivolous for Okumu and Mao to decampaign Lt Col Walter Ochora and tell lies to the Acholi that Ochora is the factor behind the unending insecurity in northern Uganda. It is unbelievable because Ochora risked his life by going in the bush to talk to the rebels physically while the likes of Mao and Okumu could not dare do that at all. They just remained in the background, singing the problems of Acholi for their own advantage. I want to assure Mao and Okumu that facts will remain facts but lies will fade off in the long run.
