Yugoslav tactician Micho Sredojevich has arrived ready to take over at Villa Park as SC Villa coach.The Ex-International jetted into the country on Saturday and has been holding negotiations with the club executive.“We hope to conclude negotiations tomorrow (today) and we shall let you know the details,” said Club president Franco Mugabe. The two parties have to agree on the head coach’s terms of service.Celebrated former Express coach Dragan Popadic is reported to have recommended his fellow countryman to Villa after the club sacked Paul Hasule at the end of last season. Villa are in Zanzibar for the CECAFA club championships with coach Moses Basena. Sredojevich will travel to watch Villa in Zanzibar. “We want a coach who can not only win local trophies but also do better at the continental stage and that is the one we shall go for,” said team manager Kevin Aliro, a few days after they sacked Hasule.Sredojevich, 33, is just a year younger than Basena.In a brief interview, the Yugoslav told The New Vision he will comment later.ends
