Lira RDC Hails Lango

THE Lira Resident District Commissioner, Charles Engwau Egou, has hailed the people of Lango for maintaining peace, reports Patrick Oyee.He said although they did not vote for the movement, they have given the government 99% of peace.He was recently presiding over the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected executive members of Lira and Apac students association at Lira Nursing and Midwifery school.He advised the newly-elected members to have vision, practice politics of unity and be transparent to enable the association achieve its goals.Engwau also commended the male students in the school for recognising that nursing was not a profession for women alone. He appealed to them to always strife for opportunities for further studies.Ends
