KAMPALA — The Government requires over $42m (sh7.6b) to make emergency repairs on the 332km-rail line to Kasese. The tracks that were constructed in the 1930s are too old. Florence Muyirwa, the public relations officer Uganda Railways Corporation, recently said they would only make emergency repairs.Ends
