THE Bishop of Bukedi Diocese, Nicodemus Okile, has urged married couples to be faithful to their partners.
Okile made the remark during the Golden Jubilee of Canon Blasio Oguli Lumonya and Aida Mariam at Buyengo Church of Uganda, Busia district.
“You need to stick to your partners from the day you make your vows until death,†Okile said.
He thanked Canon Lumonya for having kept his marriage holy up to his old age.
“Marriage brings two people as one. Bonding together is a journey, which you keep until your are separated in life by death.
“You need to tolerate one another though you may not agree sometimes. Nobody is superior to the other,†Okile said. Ends
