The function at Nyonga Cottage, Njuba’s residence at Nangabo in Wakiso district, was attended by his estranged wife, Mrs. Gertrude Njuba, a presidential adviser. Former Agriculture Minister Mrs. Victoria Ssekitoleko and husband, Dr. Colin Ssentongo of UTL also attended. Others were Mr. Medi Kaggwa, member of the East African Assembly, the RDC Kampala Godfrey Kiwanuka Musisi, Mr. Godfrey Lule, a Kampala lawyer, Kezekia Musisi Sseggwanga, religious and people of different political affiliation. Mrs. Njuba, who separated with her husband after the presidential elections early last year, was commended for acting in a mature way by attending the function although Sylvia is not her daughter. Most members of the Njuba family were also present and actively participated in the function. Mrs. Njuba, in a green and blue gomesi, quietly sat with the rest of the family members and at the end of the function, she went straight to her car and drove off to her residence.
