Uganda Kolping Society a Catholic based Non Governmental Organisation whose headquarters are in Hoima is looking for suitable Ugandans to fill the following posts:Post: Zonal Promoter ( two posts)Duty Station: Western Zone (Toro, Ankole, Kigezi)Eastern Zone (Teso, Lango, Bugisu, Tororo, and Busia)QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:Diploma in Community Development, Social Work and Social Administration, Development Studies or its equivalent. Possession of a diploma or a certificate in Education (especially adult training), Mass Communication,' Project Planning and Management, Agriculture or Commerce will be of greater advantage. Working experience in community development or training programmes at district or regional level is essential.RESPONSIBILITY:1.Promotion of the spirit, image and work of the Kolping Society in your area of operation.2.Formation , mobilisation and promotion of socio-economic and spiritual development groups (Kolping Families) through training, evaluation advocacy and net working.PERSONAL MERITS1. Ability to work with minimum supervision2. Strong oral and written communication skills3. Outstanding ability to train adults4. Fluent in Runyakitara (for the Western Zone) or Ateso and more of the other languages in the Eastern Zone.5.
