Acholi told to support army

By Tony Langalanga THE Attorney General, Francis Ayume, has urged the people of Acholi to unite with the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) to work for security and peace in the region. He was speaking at the last funeral rites of the former Prime Minister, Eric Otema Alimadi, on Saturday. He died of a stroke and was buried at his home in Coo pe, Bungatira sub-county, in Gulu distrcit. Ayume said Otema was a true politician, who executed his duties without favour. He said Otema respected God and was a strong Christian who loved everybody around him. The state minister in charge of sports, Henry Oryem Okello, also attended the function.
