Poll Petition

KAYUNGA — A loser in the recent LC5 elections has petitioned court alleging vote rigging. Thomas Muwanga Serundi Mulondo, who lost to Steven Dagada, is seeking orders for the recount of votes in Kayonza sub- county and a re-election in Kisega parish. Mulondo filed the petition at the High Court, Nakawa, on March 4. He says the whole exercise was marred by malpractices that affected the results. Mulondo alleges that the results were swapped and altered.Ends
