Most of it was smoked.He said the fish had been bought by mongers who ferry it to markets in Mbale, Tororo and Pallisa districts and others smuggle it across the border to Kenya.Mugooda said the fishmongers connived with the fishermen to collect the catch before it arrived at landing sites. Use of illegal nets has increased on Uganda’s lakes. Ends
