By Geoffrey KamaliAUCTIONEERS yesterday evicted James Ndaula Kisekka, son of the late former Vice-President, Dr. Samson Kisekka, from his house at Bulange-Lubya near Nakulabye, in Kampala. The auctioneers, from Superstar Auctioneers and Court Bailiffs (SACB), also threw out Ndaula’s family and three others.Tom Petit, a recovery officer with SACB, said Ndaula owed their client, TransAfrica Bank, over sh26m, including the interest and fees that had accrued. The loan was obtained by the late Kisekka through his company, Wakiso Enterprises and mortgaged the two-storeyed house, registered as Plot 67, Namirembe.“This house was advertised for auction in December, 1999. We gave them time to pay but they have refused to do so,” Petit said. The company had Samson Kisekka, James Ndaula Kisekka, Paul Walugembe and Justine Segamwenge as the directors.A group of kanyamas (hired musclemen), carrying metallic bars, descended on the house yesterday morning and hastily begun removing household property.Ndaula declined to speak to reporters. But family sources said they were trying to obtain money from friends abroad to pay up the loan.Ends
