Traditional Healers Asked To Fight Kony

By Geresom MusamaliTHE Government on Tuesday appealed to traditional healers to use their mystical powers to help fight the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) led by Joseph Kony.Health state minister Capt. Mike Mukula made the appeal while inaugurating the Joint Traditional Practitioners’ Associations censoring committee at the Natural Medicines Laboratory in Wandegeya.Other speakers included sports state minister Henry Oryem Okello, Luweero LC5 chairman Abdul Nadduli, National Drugs Authority chairman Dr. William Nganwa and Kampala Deputy RDC Grace Kanyike.Mukula said some healers misused their powers by sacrificing children.Ends
