THE Member of Parliament for Busiro South in Wakiso, Patrick Musisi, has accused Internal Security Organisation (ISO) officials under Operation Wembley, of raiding his home and torturing his family, reports Milton Olupot.

Musisi yesterday told journalists at Parliament House, that 12 men armed with machine guns, seven of whom were in military uniforms, stormed his home in Lungujja near Kampala at 5:00pm on Tuesday and demanded to conduct a search for arms.

Musisi said he tried to get in touch with Col. Elly Kayanja in vain.

“As a member of parliament I am raising my protest and concern over the way members of my family were treated.

“They caused grievous bodily harm to my two sons aged 16 and 24,” he said.

Latif Ssebagala (Kawempe North), said MPs’ homes could be searched since they were not above the law, but the right procedures should be followed.
