Virika Hospital Opens

By Darious Magara VIRIKA hospital in Kabarole district, which was struck by the 1994 earthquake has been rehabilitated and is now in operation, hospital authorities have said. The earthquake caused extensive damage to the hospital but all facilities for the patients in the private and out-patient wards, have been repaired. The Rev. Fr. Wunesh said recently that other facilities renovated were the laboratory and St. Joseph's Technical Institute. The hospital, belongs to Fortportal catholic diocese and has 146 beds for admissions.
