By Edith Kimuli Nasser Ntege Sebaggala, the former city mayor, has been ordered to appear in the chief magistrate's court, Jinja on April 26, to answer charges of inciting violence. Mrs. Pamela Mafabi issued the criminal summons against Sebaggala last Friday after he failed to attend court there. Sebaggala first appeared in Buganda Road court, but the case was later transferred to Jinja after he prayed to court to do so. His lawyers said the case be tried within the jurisdiction in which it was allegedly committed because in Kampala, there would be a possibility of "planting witnesses". Sebaggala allegedly committed the offence when he allegedly backed MP Ken Lukyamuzi's call on people to get machetes and injure or kill foreigners if they voted in presidential elections. Ends
