By Emmanuel Mulondo A building belonging to former Toro kingdom prime minister John Katuramu has been auctioned. The building, which also houses Katuramu's Voice of Toro radio, was auctioned about three weeks ago. The building is on Plot 2-4, Lugard Road in Fort portal. All the tenants, including the radio establishment were served with an eviction notice to be enforced unless they pay outstanding rent and other dues to the new owner. Superstar Auctioneers and Court Bailiffs auctioned the property after Katuramu failed to repay a loan to Uganda Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL). The auctioneers on Friday declined to name the new owner and referred this reporter to UCBL. UCBL legal officer on Monday confirmed the sale but referred the reporter to the PRO Dan Nsibambi for details. ends.
